Partnering with you for life
When you and your pup join the Puppy Pee School family, you become part of the pack fur-ever! We create a personalized plan with you and your puppy’s needs in mind. Throughout the weeks they are with us, we are in frequent communication with you, updating you on their progress and what we have been working on.
At the end of the training window, we set up a meeting to equip YOU with the exact same combination of commands and hand signals, allowing for a smooth and seamless transition into your home.

Puppy Training Services in Charlotte, NC
Our board-and-train services offer a range of skills that your puppy will be learning while they are with us. Board-and-train services require your puppy to stay with the trainer in their home during the training period.
We offer training in two locations: Charlotte and Asheville, NC.
We believe in the power of board-and-train style, because your puppy will be constantly reinforced in their training skills. They will also be socialized with other people and potentially other dogs in the trainer’s home, preparing them to transition back into your home.

Puppy Training Step-by-Step Process
Week One
Training Begins

Introduced to the trainer's home

Crate training begins:

Overnight potty break if needed
-
Short, positive intervals of exposure during the day to teach them their crate is a safe and comfortable place.

Starts learning name

Puppy is introduced to other pets and environments as vaccinations allow

Potty training starts however requested from the puppy's owner (ex. pee pad, grass mat, outside, etc.)
Week Two
Training Reinforced

Puppy's name is reinforced

Crate training continues as they grow and can hold their bladder for longer periods of time.

Potty training continues

Puppy is introduced to and wears their harness

Trainer begins getting the puppy comfortable with car rides by taking them on out-of-the-home trips.

This also socializes them by being in different environments around other people/animals

Week Three
Training Refined

Continued overnight crate training and short intervals during the day.

Potty training continues with fewer accidents and longer periods of time between potty breaks as the puppy's bladder grows and becomes stronger.

Leash training begins

Previously taught commands are reinforced and mastered while new commands are introduced.
Week Four+
Training Continues as Needed

Depending on the requests made with your trainer, training can continue however long is needed.

Nearing the end of your puppy's training, you will meet with your trainer in person or virtually to go over how to implement these skills to have a seamless, beautiful transition to your puppy's fur-ever home!

There is so much information out there about which dog food and vitamins to give them, which can be very overwhelming to choose from. Let us take the guesswork out of which product is the best to use by introducing your puppy to our tested, tried-and-true products that we use on our very own dogs. We want only the best for your puppy in their brand-new life, and our mission is to equip you with the information and resources you need so you won’t be guessing what’s right for your beloved pet.
Upon request, we can introduce each of the following products while your puppy is with us, free of charge. This includes:
